This video shows the last polishing of silver #3 on 2 pieces I am finishing for someone who did the substrate lacquer. There is a breakthrough on the first one and second one, probably caused by the application of the red. Short of completely sanding everything off and reapplying the metal there is no way to fix it.

Here is a Han period Chinese koro. Smashed with some missing pieces in the lid. It will be a challenging piece for a number of reasons. It is an earthenware lustre glaze which means it will be very easy to destroy the surface. Also, the missing piece will be a challenge.
