Traditional, lacquer based kintsugi, step 8, sanding sabi
This video shows sanding sabi that has middle black lacquer on it. I use a #800 mesh sanding stone and several cutting tools. The glaze is a middle fire type that will easily stain so I make sure there is not a puddle of water on the surface.
